Refrigeration Maint

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
Applicants for the Refrigeration Tech will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on all plant refrigeration equipment. Applicants will be working inside and outside of facility as directed, exposed to weather elements outside, wet floors, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment repairs, moving objects, humid, cold (-40F) noisy and cramped working quarters at times lifting up to 70 lbs. standing, bending. All applicants are required to follow proper hygiene practices and to follow proper safety procedures at all times. Must also perform any other job duties assigned by their supervisor.
Requirements
Must be able to perform all job duties and work flexible hours and weekends. Must be HAZMAT certified or able to become HAZMAT certified. Also must attend HAZMAT meetings one a month. Must be able to complete all required paperwork and furnish hand tools and tool box to perform assigned duties within 6 months. This position requires becoming HAZMAT certified and maintain. This entails completing and passing a HAZMAT physical, pulmonary function test (lung capacity) and OSHA respirator medical evaluation questionnaire. Must be able to achieve Level IV status on the annual respiratory test. If an applicant meets Tyson s minimum requirements for considerations, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants who have failed the pre-employment drug screen three times or more will not be considered for hire. Applicants who have been discharged from prior Tyson employment for the following reasons will not be considered for employment Job abandonment, unsatisfactory probationary period, Rules of conduct, walked off the job, attendance and insubordination. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
